Leatt revolutionized rider safety with the development of the neck brace in 2001.

In 2004, Dr. Chris Leatt sells the first Leatt Neck Brace in South Africa.

After establishing the Leatt company in 2004, the first sales of the Leatt Neck Brace begain in the USA in 2006.

BTO Sports is proud to have been one of the first online stores to be selling the braces [like hotcakes] in 2007. The Leatt Brace gracing the cover of Racer X Illustrated & the support of motocross legend David Bailey propelled the product forward in a way that few have seen in the world of motorsports.

Since 2010 and beyond, Leatt has been producing and selling top quality protection products from head to toe - now solidified as a leader in the space of head-to-toe motorsports protective gear.
